Hunting ground in IL & KY

This unique farm, bordering the Ohio River, provides two separate Whitetail Deer hunting seasons. Although all the acreage lies on the Illinois side of the Ohio River, 50 acres belongs to Kentucky. Therefore, deer hunting can begin on Sept. 1st each year on the 50.05 acres East of the Illinois line in KY.  This gives the landowner a head start on hunting big bucks. The farm has wooded acreage as well as crop fields and black top road frontage. 8 acres of crop fields lies in the center of the property perfectly situated for establishing food plots to attract trophy Whitetails.This fertile soil is made up of Hurst silty clay loam (99 PI) and Racoon silt loam (106 PI). The field could also be used to build a low water structure and flood for duck and goose hunting. 

In addition to two deer hunting seasons, this property is also abundant with turkeys and waterfowl. This area has been known to hold thousands of ducks resting in flooded back waters late in the waterfowl season.  One would have to buy permits and stamps in KY as well as IL and hunt on those specific lands.  This is the ONLY farm we have ever known with KY land on the IL side of the river. 

Of course, there are excellent fishing opportunities just off of the river banks. The area is known for its giant Catfish. When not hunting or fishing, ATV and UTV riding is also an option throughout the property. 

Off of the blacktop road lies an elevated area which would be a great location for a hunting cabin or home.  

This is probably the most unique farm we have ever seen offering extraordinary recreational opportunities.
